Director, Strategy Planning and Execution

Location: Broomfield, Colorado, United States; hybrid workplace

Salary: $220,000–$280,000 annually, including target bonus

What you will do

• Design, lead, and continuously improve the enterprise planning framework, including annual and multi-year business planning.
• Own the planning infrastructure for the corporate STRAP process and translate strategic priorities into executable plans, milestones, and deliverables.
• Oversee strategic initiative delivery, portfolio governance, dependencies, risks, capacity constraints, and execution confidence.
• Establish operating rhythms including QBRs, execution reviews, planning cycles, and executive governance.
• Build executive performance dashboards and reporting for KPIs, OKRs, delivery targets, and organisational performance.
• Lead high-priority strategic projects and facilitate executive trade-off decisions across competing priorities and resources.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading enterprise planning, strategy execution, or business operations in complex cross-functional environments.
• Strong track record driving complex initiatives through structured governance and disciplined follow-through.
• Experience aligning stakeholders across hardware, software, commercial, and business functions without direct authority.
• Experience building performance dashboards, tracking KPIs and OKRs, and using data to support decisions.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to manage ambiguity and complexity.

Nice to have

• Exposure to quantum computing, AI, advanced computing, or other complex technology environments.
• Experience establishing planning cycles, QBRs, and execution cadences in high-growth or scaling environments.
