Head of Tax & Asset Compliance

Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada; flexible hybrid working model

Salary: CAD 163,800–227,500 annual base salary

What you will do

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the tax and asset compliance solution domain.
• Turn telematics data into automated evidence, filings, and monitoring that reduce violations, fines, downtime, and administrative work.
• Define business, customer experience, adoption, and product performance metrics, including submission success rates and violations avoided.
• Lead cross-functional product management, design, and engineering teams while mentoring and developing future leaders.
• Manage domain investment, annual planning, budgets, headcount, OKRs, and delivery capacity.
• Collaborate with platform, segment, sales, support, executive, and external fleet customer stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management, product engineering, or related customer-facing product roles.
• 5+ years of senior product and people leadership with cross-functional scope and accountability for customer-facing business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience defining and executing customer-facing product strategy tied to measurable business outcomes, with P&L literacy and revenue attribution.
• Experience leading product management, product design, and product engineering teams and coaching high-potential leaders.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, change readiness, product discovery, validation, CI/CD, cloud-native delivery, and agile engineering experience.

• Experience redesigning domain workflows around AI to reduce effort.
• Experience with tax and asset compliance solutions for North American fleets.
