Director Product Operations (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, based in Canada. Conditions: Canada – Ontario – Mississauga

Salary: 140,000–210,000 CAD per year, plus benefits. The role may also include incentive plans.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the Product Operations strategy, operating model, planning frameworks, and organizational rhythms for Product and R&D.
• Lead annual goal setting, quarterly planning, capacity reviews, and in-quarter operating cadences across Product, R&D, and GTM.
• Define the product toolchain strategy, including planning, intake, and roadmapping tools, while establishing governance and data standards.
• Build executive-ready reporting, product operations maturity metrics, delivery effectiveness measures, and visibility into team capacity and squad assignments.
• Champion AI-powered workflows and lead continuous improvement and change management across planning, intake, delivery, reporting, and enablement.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, GTM, and Finance leadership, facilitate executive forums, and support financial planning and budget operations.

Requirements

• Progressive experience in Product Operations, Technical Program Management, or a related function within a B2B SaaS or software company at Senior Manager or Director scope.
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and scaling product operating models.
• Experience leading and developing people through direct management, mentorship, or capability building.
• Expertise in product planning frameworks, modern tooling, governance, data quality, and organizational adoption.
• Executive communication skills, strategic systems thinking, and the ability to influence Product, R&D, Engineering, Design, and GTM without relying on positional authority.
• Must be based in Canada; genuine fluency with AI tools and AI-enabled workflows is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, email security, or enterprise SaaS.
• Exposure to organizational design, GTM coordination, product launches, or company-level operating models.
• CSPO, PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or MBA credentials.
