Procurement Specialist (Automotive)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end RFQ processes for indirect goods and services, including requirements gathering, supplier identification, quotation requests, bid analysis, and recommendations.
• Support supplier sourcing by evaluating quotations, negotiating routine commercial terms, and following procurement policies and approval procedures.
• Create, maintain, and track purchase orders, supplier confirmations, open orders, delivery schedules, and ERP updates.
• Monitor supplier performance and proactively follow up to prevent delays and mitigate supply risks.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, and goods receipt mismatches with suppliers, finance, and internal stakeholders.
• Support manufacturing, engineering, quality, finance, IT, facilities, and other departments with procurement requests and status updates.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JDE, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Good Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on open actions, and work independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with indirect procurement categories.
