Program Buyer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Coordinate purchasing activities with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams during vehicle development and serial production.
• Launch supplier kick-offs after supplier awards and guarantee supplier tool kick-offs.
• Negotiate volume increases, development changes, quality costs, technical performance terms, and engineering changes.
• Release final start-of-production prices and achieve project-specific final price targets.
• Detect troubled suppliers and potential shortages, coordinate escalation, and monitor supplier capacity and prices.
• Lead summary meetings and manage negotiations with suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) specializing in Procurement or Logistics.
• At least 3 years of procurement experience.
• Proven experience in purchasing and supplier negotiation.
• Good knowledge of negotiation techniques and strong report-writing and information-synthesis skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Professional working proficiency in French and English at B2–C1 level.
