Procurement Specialist (Aerospace)

Location: Hybrid role with onsite work required; candidates must be located near Denver or Colorado Springs, Colorado. The posting also lists Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA.

Salary: $65,000–$120,000 base salary per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Execute the full indirect procure-to-pay cycle, from intake and RFQs through bid evaluation, purchase orders, delivery confirmation, and invoicing.
• Maintain vendor options, qualify new suppliers, manage performance, and resolve delivery, quality, shipment, and invoice issues.
• Track open purchase orders and communicate delivery status, vendor issues, and cost variances to stakeholders.
• Support administration of NDAs, MSAs, and SOWs in coordination with legal.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, quotes, contracts, and receipts.
• Identify repetitive procurement work and recommend improvements to reduce cycle time.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of procurement or purchasing experience with meaningful exposure to indirect spend.
• Hands-on experience with RFQs, quote evaluation, purchase orders, and the full procure-to-pay process.
• Strong vendor management skills and the ability to resolve supplier disputes directly.
• Ability to manage a high volume of open orders and competing priorities.
• Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems such as Coupa, SAP, or NetSuite.
• U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residency, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain required ITAR authorizations is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or technology manufacturing.
• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, or ITAR purchasing compliance.
• Exposure to contract administration for MSAs, SOWs, and NDAs.
• Experience building procurement processes in a startup or high-growth company.
