Senior Staff Backend Engineer (Java)

Location: Hyderabad, India; hybrid work with at least 2 days in the office per week

What you will do

• Drive architecture and system design for scalable, robust, and highly available platforms.
• Define product roadmaps and technical vision for scalable growth.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders on mission-critical projects.
• Design open and extensible platforms that enable new product opportunities.
• Decompose complex technical problems into straightforward solutions.
• Investigate and resolve critical system issues while applying software development and operations best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 12 years of experience in software design and development.
• Strong experience with Java and Python.
• Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available systems.
• Experience with large-scale system architecture and development, AWS, and container-based testing environments.
• Experience with Java, IntelliJ, and Spring.
