Senior Software Engineer (NWES) (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Develop robust network applications for Windows and Linux endpoints to enhance Trend Vision One.
• Build and improve network security solutions including firewalls, intrusion prevention, and web reputation services.
• Research and integrate threat defense technologies and network behavior detection capabilities.
• Resolve customer problems and support critical business operations.
• Collaborate with product development teams across multiple countries in a Scrum-based environment.
• Assure software quality and product viability through testing and engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience.
• Programming or scripting experience with Go, C++, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience delivering high-performance, real-time applications on Linux or Windows.
• Experience developing asynchronous messaging process programs.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and unit testing practices.

Nice to have

• Network security experience.
• Familiarity with Windows Pktmon and Linux eBPF.
• Experience developing Chrome and Edge browser extensions.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services.
• Software development experience across multiple operating systems.
