What you will do
- Develop, design, debug, maintain, test, implement, and validate applications throughout the software development life cycle.
- Build basic to moderately complex front-end or back-end code for internal and external client software solutions.
- Create program specifications, application documentation, implementation plans, and development deliverables.
- Analyze, modify, and unit-test code, validate changes, and correct application deficiencies.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams and recommend improvements to development, maintenance, and system standards.
- Apply Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in coding, design, development, and data analysis.
- Experience with two or more modern enterprise programming languages, APIs, external services, and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with IBM Rational Tools and 4+ years of professional coding, design, development, and data analysis experience.
- Ability to work with moderate complexity, exercise judgment, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Technical knowledge of Linux, Windows, z/OS, or Tandem operating systems.
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, DB2, or Hadoop databases.
- Knowledge of Java, Python, .NET, Ruby, or COBOL.
- Experience with web, mobile development, or machine learning frameworks.
