Sr. Software Engineer (Storage Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade software tools and frameworks for product testing, validation, and quality control.
• Build and maintain APIs connecting Linux production testers with standalone vendor mass-production tools, often developed for Windows.
• Translate complex engineering workflows into safe, streamlined applications with checks and balances for non-expert production operators.
• Adapt or port Windows-based vendor tools into an efficient Linux mass-production ecosystem.
• Implement and troubleshoot SATA and NVMe communications, including Vendor Unique Commands.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams and travel occasionally to customer sites and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in DRAM module burn-in, stress testing, and failure analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Python, C, and Bash scripting.
• Deep knowledge of Windows and Linux environments, SATA and NVMe protocols, and storage-controller mass-production tools.
• Experience in SSD or storage manufacturing test environments and building tools from scratch.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or Codex.
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles for manufacturing execution systems or operator dashboards.
