Collection Analyst (Finance)

Location: Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico; onsite

What you will do

• Analyze customers’ financial condition, credit scores, credit limits, and risk ratings.
• Review fraud detection outputs and advise on potential investigations.
• Manage credit card chargebacks and resolve disputes involving overdue customer payments.
• Negotiate initial payments with customers and sales personnel to facilitate purchases beyond credit limits.
• Analyze delinquencies and non-payment trends, recommending communication and resolution approaches.
• Support priority projects through research, data analysis, standardized reporting, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and demonstrated competence.
• Typically 0–2 years of experience, preferably in collections, credit, banking, or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting, auditing, credit analysis, credit risk management, financial analysis, financial statements, risk management, underwriting, and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
• Effective communication, customer centricity, results orientation, learning agility, and digital fluency.

Nice to have

• Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAPP) certification.
• Certified Professional in Credit and Collections (CPCC) certification.
