Electrical & Instrument Technician Night Shift (6PM-6AM) (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at the Newark, Delaware site, working a 12-hour night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, install, maintain, configure, test, calibrate, and repair electrical equipment operating at up to 480VAC three-phase.
• Maintain motors, adjustable speed drives, motor controls, switchgear, transformers, battery systems, and UPS systems.
• Maintain instrumentation and process equipment, including control valves, regulators, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and flow, pressure, temperature, level, load, and proximity instruments.
• Conduct interlock testing, verify equipment safeguards, and support compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Write electrical operating, isolation, and maintenance procedures; support training and define preventive maintenance requirements.
• Provide I&E input for new processes and systems, interpret blueprints and P&IDs, manage equipment records and spare parts in SAP, and coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners.

Requirements

• Active Delaware Journeyperson Electrician License required.
• Instrumentation and electrical experience in a manufacturing environment; 5+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Ability to respond to off-hour emergencies and work overtime for vacation coverage and plant needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HR and timekeeping systems, SAP, and online training tools.
• Ability to work safely under limited supervision, independently and in teams, while maintaining operational discipline.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, work on elevated platforms, use tools and plant equipment, wear required PPE, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Active Master Electrician License through the Delaware Board of Electrical Examiners.
• Experience in chemical or medical device manufacturing.
• Experience with PLCs and process control, especially Allen-Bradley MicroLogix, RSLogix500, and RSLogix5000.
