Electrical & Instrument Technician Night Shift (6PM-6AM)

Location: Newark, Delaware, United States; onsite at the Newark site. Twelve-hour night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with occasional off-hour emergency response and overtime required.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment up to 480VAC, three-phase, including motors, drives, motor controls, switchgear, transformers, battery systems, and UPS systems.
• Configure, test, calibrate, and repair process instruments, control valves, solenoids, regulators, and pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
• Conduct interlock testing and verify that equipment safeguards comply with company policies and regulations.
• Write electrical operating, isolation, and maintenance procedures and support equipment training.
• Provide instrumentation and electrical input for new process and system designs, work planning, spare parts, SAP equipment files, and scheduled service intervals.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and P&IDs and coordinate electrical equipment issues with suppliers and manufacturing partners.

Requirements

• Active Delaware Journeyperson Electrician License required.
• Instrumentation and electrical knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment; 5+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Availability for off-hour emergency response and overtime for vacation coverage and plant needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HR and timekeeping systems, SAP, and online training tools.
• Ability to work safely and effectively independently and in teams under limited supervision, including work with tools, ladders, elevated platforms, plant equipment, and required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds and work in varied temperature and humidity conditions.

Nice to have

• Active Master Electrician License through the Delaware Board of Electrical Examiners.
• Experience in chemical or medical device manufacturing.
• Experience with PLCs and process control, especially Allen-Bradley MicroLogix, RSLogix500, and RSLogix5000.
