Mechanic 1 - Night Shift

Location: Lancaster, Texas, United States warehouse; onsite night shift, Sun–Tues, 6 PM–6 AM

Salary: $30.88–$31.63 per hour, with potential overtime, shift differentials, and bonuses

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair conveyor systems, sorters, unloaders, dock equipment, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse assets, including powered industrial vehicles, conveyors, dock doors, and electrical panels.
• Conduct general building maintenance such as carpentry, painting, drywall, plumbing, and cleaning.
• Operate aerial lifts, powered industrial trucks, order pickers, pallet runners, and related warehouse equipment.
• Complete emergency repairs, work orders, maintenance logs, and CMMS documentation.
• Follow OSHA, state, and local compliance requirements, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of industrial maintenance experience or relevant certifications.
• Experience with basic carpentry, painting, drywall, cleaning, and general maintenance.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, electrical testing equipment, PLC systems, computers, and CMMS software.
• Ability to work in a noisy, non-climate-controlled warehouse with low lighting and perform scheduled or unscheduled overtime.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds and safely climb ladders and gangways while bending, stretching, crawling, and reaching.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including arc-flash protection and safety shoes.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating order pickers, pallet jacks, forklifts, and aerial lifts.
