Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Nampa, Idaho, United States; onsite at a PCA box plant. Current opening: swing shift, 3:00–11:00 PM.

Salary: $31.53–$42.11 per hour, based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience.

What you will do

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities in a production environment.
• Respond to equipment breakdown calls and restore plant operations safely.
• Work as part of a maintenance team in a multicraft role.
• Develop additional mechanical and electrical skills through company-provided training.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work according to a three-shift production schedule; the current opening is on the swing shift from 3:00–11:00 PM.
• Technicians must supply their own basic hand tools; PCA provides special and heavy tools.

Nice to have

• Technical degree in mechanical or electrical trades.
• Experience in the corrugated packaging or printing industry.
