Facilities Maintenance Technician II (Night Shift) (Biomanufacturing)

Location: Blue Ash, Ohio, USA; onsite night-shift role

Salary: $21.50–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform scheduled preventive and unscheduled corrective or emergency maintenance on facility equipment, systems, and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot equipment and monitor performance indicators, alarms, and building management systems.
• Maintain HVAC, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers, air dryers, lighting, plumbing, electrical systems, and emergency generators.
• Complete facility inspections and technical measurements, including infrared, vibration, pressure, superheat, and subcooling readings.
• Prioritize and complete work requests, identify temporary and permanent fixes, and pull required parts for work orders.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and report deviations while following cGMP, SOPs, lockout/tagout, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Blue Ash, Ohio, on a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
• Effective English reading, writing, communication, and instruction-following skills are required.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate recordkeeping, and ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a changing, demanding environment.
• Ability to read SOPs, technical documentation, diagrams, drawings, and schematics.
• Some overtime may be required with minimal advance notice.

Nice to have

• High school diploma with skilled-trade certification in areas such as electrical or boiler operations.
• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Skilled-trades training, state certification, or applicable licensure.
• Experience with CMMS and regulated or cGMP environments.
