Maintenance Control Center Supervisor (SATCOM)

Location: 100% onsite at DFW Airport in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas; this is not a remote position.

Salary: $93,000–$147,000 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $115,500–$173,500 annually.

What you will do

• Supervise controllers and SATCOM specialists maintaining and troubleshooting installed in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems.
• Plan maintenance actions and implementation across the installed aircraft fleet.
• Coordinate daily shift operations, assign and review work, provide technical guidance, and manage complex issues.
• Oversee maintenance control operations and collaborate with Airline Operations, Engineering, Account Management, vendors, and airline partners.
• Lead staff training and development, personnel scheduling, performance reviews, overtime and leave approvals, and policy application.
• Ensure daily airline reports are accurate and lead the Maintenance Control Center morning operations meeting when required.

Requirements

• Ability to work 100% onsite at DFW Airport in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
• US citizenship required.
• At least 5 years of SATCOM experience.
• Experience leading teams, communicating across organizations, escalating issues, and collaborating with external vendors and customers.
• Ability to lead and execute complex departmental projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to hirify.global offices, customer locations, and airline maintenance locations; a valid passport is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with RF satellite or wireless communication systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Linux or Unix.
• Experience with hardware and software used in IP networking and satellite communications.
