Operations Program Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Duluth, Georgia, United States. Travel of up to 20% may be required during certain program phases.

Salary: $120,500–$190,000 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $149,500–$224,500 annually.

What you will do

• Lead multifunctional production program teams across manufacturing, test engineering, sourcing, production planning, and quality assurance.
• Manage production program requirements from new product development through mature-product fulfillment.
• Partner with engineering to improve manufacturability, testability, cost, and scalability.
• Coordinate prototype and development activities, ensuring processes, suppliers, and contract manufacturers are production-ready.
• Translate product forecasts into build plans and manage manufacturing labor forecasting, program updates, and adjustments.
• Report manufacturing and logistics status, risks, and recovery plans to program reviews, executive leadership, and external customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical, industrial, or another engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in program management, product operations, or engineering in a hardware-focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of program management methodologies, cost controls, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
• Experience using project management and collaboration software, including MS Project and Jira.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business or a technical field.
• Oracle or other ERP experience.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations, quality systems, and product lifecycle management.
• PMP certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with outsourced manufacturing strategies for high-reliability communications hardware.
