Senior Analyst - IT Software Asset Management

What you will do

• Create and maintain Effective License Positions for major publishers, including SAP, Microsoft, Broadcom, Adobe, IBM, and Oracle.
• Lead software license reconciliation, remediation, procurement, allocation, renewals, and removal to improve compliance, cost efficiency, and asset tracking.
• Manage New Software Request and Existing Software Review processes, ServiceNow requests, SLAs, publisher portals, and software lifecycle dashboards.
• Administer Flexera One, including upgrades, fix packs, data loads, API integrations, catalog items, workflows, agent deployment, device inventory, and discovery.
• Coordinate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams to resolve license issues, negotiate favorable terms, and improve vendor support.
• Apply ITIL practices, support testing and production deployments, and provide reports and presentations on software usage, risks, efficiencies, and ROI.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, or a related field, or 5–10 years of experience in a comparable role.
• Experience with software asset management tools, license tracking, reporting, compliance, software license agreements, and CMDB.
• Hands-on experience supporting Flexera One installations, upgrades, and fix packs, including leading or executing system upgrades.
• Experience with Flexera data loads, inbound and outbound API integrations, catalog items, workflows, agent deployment, device inventory, and discovery.
• Experience with scripting languages and technologies including Linux, Java, and Angular, plus unit and regression testing.
• Fluent English and the ability to work effectively with geo-dispersed, multicultural teams.

• Hands-on implementation experience.
