Production Support (UNIX/Linux, Shell Scripting, SQL (MS-SQL, Oracle)) – Rotational Shifts

What you will do

• Provide Level 2 application support for cleared derivatives products and act as a primary contact for investment banking clients.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and technical issues in hirify.global and client environments.
• Manage service requests, incident tickets, escalations, and problem resolutions within SLA requirements.
• Monitor applications using Geneos, Prometheus, Grafana, and Autosys, and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams on fixes, enhancements, releases, and deployments.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity tests, audits, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of production or product support experience in capital markets, investment banking, or financial services.
• Hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux, shell scripting, SQL, and database operations, including MS-SQL or Oracle.
• Experience with ITIL-based incident, problem, change, release, and deployment management processes.
• Experience with automation and scheduling tools such as Autosys or Control-M, plus ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or TeamSupport.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, prioritization, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Availability for rotational shifts, early mornings, and occasional weekend work is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cleared derivatives post-trade processes, including trade allocation, matching, reconciliations, settlements, and position management.
• Experience with Geneos, Prometheus, Grafana, cloud environments, automation technologies, or SRE practices.
• Prior banking or financial institution experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• ITIL v3 or v4 certification.
