TL;DR
Production Support Analyst Senior (Banking Payments): Supporting and maintaining banking payment applications, ATM switches, deployments, and system integrations with an accent on L2 troubleshooting, ISO8583 environments, database analysis, and operational stability. Focus on diagnosing complex incidents, coordinating L3 support and banking vendors, performing SIT/UAT and DR activities, and driving root-cause fixes.
Location: IND MUMB FL3; work from client location

What you will do
- Diagnose and resolve L2 technical issues involving banking applications, databases, system performance, logs, and memory alerts.
- Monitor production systems, perform maintenance and DR drills, and apply patches, updates, and configuration changes.
- Support SIT and UAT simulations, scheduled deployments, change requests, and client CAB prerequisites.
- Collaborate with L3 support, developers, clients, and OEM vendors to resolve complex incidents within defined turnaround times.
- Analyze root causes, track repeat incidents, document resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles and FAQs.
- Guide L1 support, coordinate daily operations with the bank and its vendors, and support audit and security activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an electronics/circuit-related discipline.
- 6+ years of overall experience, including 3+ years in application support or IT operations within the banking payments domain.
- Experience with SQL, Oracle or other relational databases, Linux/Unix, and Windows server environments.
- Experience with APIs, web services, system integrations, ITIL incident/problem/change management, and SIT/UAT testing.
- Experience in an ISO8583 switch environment; IST Switch experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for working with technical teams, clients, business users, and vendors.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with IST Switch ISO8583, VTS, MC & Boss Simulator, or similar banking applications.
- Knowledge of banking IT regulatory requirements and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
