Engineer ServiceNow IT Asset Management

Location: Headquarters - Katy, Texas, United States. Regular office attendance is required.

What you will do

• Own and evolve ServiceNow ITAM capabilities, including HAM Pro and SAM Pro.
• Align ITAM with CMDB, Discovery, Service Graph, and CSDM to maintain trusted asset data.
• Design scalable platform solutions and automate asset lifecycle workflows from procurement through disposal.
• Define data standards, normalization rules, lifecycle states, governance controls, and audit processes.
• Identify software licensing risks and cost optimization opportunities while partnering with security, compliance, finance, procurement, operations, IT, and vendors.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for asset performance, lifecycle health, compliance exposure, spend visibility, and risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow ITAM, CMDB, IT operations, or a related enterprise technology environment.
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting HAM Pro and SAM Pro.
• Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and/or Service Graph, plus strong knowledge of CSDM concepts.
• Experience with asset lifecycle processes, governance, compliance, audit readiness, software licensing, and automation-driven workflows.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow certifications such as CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM, CIS-ITOM, or CSA.
• Experience in retail, multi-site, or distributed operating environments.
