SoC Design Engineer

What you will do

• Design and integrate complex IPs and subsystems into SoCs.
• Interpret SoC, architecture, and IP specifications and ensure chip-level requirements are met.
• Write RTL code and run lint, CDC, and RDC checks.
• Develop verification plans, perform coverage analysis, and support verification goals and debug.
• Collaborate on architecture and IP evaluations, performance and power analysis, and pre- and post-silicon validation.
• Support timing constraints, synthesis, specification and code reviews, and power estimation.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of SoC architecture fundamentals and digital design.
• Professional RTL coding experience with Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Knowledge of ARM AMBA bus protocols and the complete SoC RTL-to-GDS-to-silicon release flow.
• Proficiency in Perl, Python, or Tcl, plus familiarity with SVN or Git.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Codex, including responsible use for verification, IP confidentiality, and compliance.
• BSEE degree required; MSEE preferred, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing ARM- or RISC-V-based SoCs.
• Hands-on experience with C or SystemC.
• Experience with or understanding of UVM-based verification.
