Supervisor-Production (Aerospace Electronics)

Location: Garden Grove, California, United States. The role requires proof of US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status under US export-control regulations.

Annual base salary: $70,304–$128,000, plus restricted stock units, quarterly bonuses, health benefits, retirement savings plans, and an ESPP.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate manufacturing activities, material flow, work orders, production schedules, and workflow across functional groups.
• Develop and maintain master manufacturing and material delivery schedules to meet product delivery dates.
• Track production budgets, including material estimates to complete, and manage material and production-control activities.
• Develop standard operating procedures, work instructions, equipment tracking systems, and standardized manufacturing processes.
• Provide direction, training, performance reviews, improvement goals, and disciplinary actions for assigned personnel.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, planning, purchasing, and quality teams to resolve production and delivery issues.

Requirements

• BA degree, trade school, or equivalent education in Material and Production Control technology.
• At least 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in military or aerospace electronic manufacturing, including the last 2 years in hands-on material or production control and stockroom work.
• At least 2 years of hands-on MRP experience.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints, schematics, drawings, parts lists, statements of work, specifications, and military specifications.
• Supervisory, training, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other professional computer equipment; ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

• ISO 9000 and ISO 9001 experience.
• IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 experience.
• Experience with team or self-management teams.
• Experience working with space-related equipment.
