Salary: $96,760–$137,352 USD per year.

What you will do

  • Coordinate and prioritize second-shift wire harness fabrication and assembly assignments for the technician team.
  • Lead, mentor, and train technicians in harness assembly techniques, workmanship standards, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 requirements.
  • Support crimping, soldering, connector assembly, bundling, lacing, routing, continuity testing, and inspection activities.
  • Optimize harness manufacturing for cycle time, yield, quality, and cost while maintaining Class 2 and Class 3 standards.
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and program management on manufacturability and reliability.
  • Drive defect reduction, rework elimination, waste reduction, tool control, inventory readiness, and production throughput improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in a technical field, preferably wire harness or aerospace cable assembly manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing production teams.
  • High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of wire harness fabrication, technical drawings, wire lists, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted and work a consistent second-shift schedule.
  • Must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements as a U.S. person or be eligible for deemed export licensing.

Nice to have

  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS or CIT certification and experience training or evaluating technicians.
  • Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC-A-600, IPC J-STD-001, MIL-DTL-22759, AS22759, or NASM standards.
  • Experience creating SOPs, work instructions, inspection criteria, and other manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience with CAD or harness design tools such as Siemens Capital.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective actions, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing.
