Director, Operations Finance (Biotech)

Location: Bridgewater, New Jersey, United States; hybrid workplace.

Salary: $170,000–$240,000 per year; approximate, negotiable, and location dependent.

What you will do

• Partner with the Chief Operating Officer and Operations leadership on financial planning and business decisions.
• Manage Operations FP&A, including forecasting, monthly budget-versus-actual analysis, and performance insights.
• Lead product costing, profitability analysis, and cost-improvement initiatives to improve gross margins.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing-site staffing plans and forecast costs for assets under development and products in the commercial pipeline.
• Establish and lead Operations Finance teams supporting manufacturing facilities in Bridgewater, Europe, and Japan.
• Prepare Operations-related financial presentations and audit support materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant financial and leadership experience.
• Extensive experience with SAP or another ERP solution.
• Experience with SQL, Power Query, Power BI, Snowflake, Tableau, or comparable analysis tools and databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
