Director, Business Finance (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, United States

Salary: $152,000–$292,000 per year, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

What you will do

• Partner with Product Line leadership to drive revenue growth, profitability, and long-term business value.
• Lead financial management of Product Line P&Ls, including revenue, gross margin, operating profit, and performance metrics.
• Drive quarterly forecasts, annual operating plans, and long-range planning aligned with technology and business objectives.
• Provide financial support for customer contracts, pricing, supply agreements, partnerships, and commercial negotiations.
• Evaluate R&D investments, technology roadmaps, capital allocation, and manufacturing capacity initiatives.
• Present risks, opportunities, recommendations, and actionable insights to senior leadership while partnering across Finance, Product, Technology, Sales, Operations, and Manufacturing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 13+ years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles in product-driven, manufacturing, or technology-intensive businesses.
• Experience in business finance, FP&A, or P&L support within semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or B2B technology environments.
• Experience leading financial workstreams involving forecasting, contracts, capital investment, and business integration.
• Strong executive presence, analytical skills, and ability to influence senior leaders across functions and regions.
• Fluency in English, written and verbal.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• MBA.
• Direct semiconductor industry experience.
