Location: Hybrid in the Isle of Man, Guernsey or Jersey; at least two days per week or 40% of working time at the office
Salary: Starting from Β£72,702 in the Isle of Man and Β£84,051 in Jersey or Guernsey

What you will do
- Lead metadata initiatives supporting regulatory obligations and coordinate delivery across colleagues in the Isle of Man.
- Investigate data issues, identify root causes, dependencies and risks, and drive practical resolutions.
- Embed data standards, controls, data quality requirements and consistent data management practices across business, technology, risk and control teams.
- Support data management in change delivery and help shape governance, control effectiveness and data strategy across the Crown Dependencies.
- Create guidance, standards, communications, committee reporting and board-level governance materials.
- Champion improvements to data capability and support innovation, including AI-enabled solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance, metadata management or a related discipline.
- Experience leading workstreams, initiatives or delivery activities and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of metadata, data lineage, data quality, master and reference data, and data products.
- Experience implementing and monitoring data controls, supporting compliance, responding to data incidents and resolving data integrity issues.
- Strong analytical, communication and relationship-building skills, including engagement with senior leaders.
- Working knowledge of Collibra, Ataccama, Dataplex, CI/CD practices and Google Cloud is advantageous.
