Location: Long Beach, California, United States; based at 's global headquarters. This is a US office role. Active TS/SCI clearance is required. US government export regulations require eligibility under ITAR, such as US citizenship, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or the ability to obtain the required authorization.
Base pay range: $134,000–$201,000 USD annually.

What you will do
- Lead RF payload, transponder, SAR, and communications-system programs from blank-sheet concepts through qualification, high-rate production, and flight.
- Own the technical roadmap and make architectural decisions with Chief Engineers across multiple active programs.
- Coordinate hardware, software, spectrum-management, and cross-functional teams while removing technical and operational blockers.
- Manage strategic suppliers and high-stakes subcontracts to protect schedule, margin, and mission execution.
- Serve as the primary contact for national security, civil, and commercial customers.
- Partner with Business Development and Strategy on proposals and technical narratives for next-generation RF systems and payloads.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics, science, or another technical discipline.
- 8+ years of program management experience and a record of owning technical programs, products, or teams end to end.
- Experience moving hardware and software from prototype toward scalable, flight-ready production.
- Understanding of transponders, SAR, or advanced communications systems.
- Experience identifying and mitigating technical, schedule, and supply-chain risks.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to work on US ITAR-regulated technology are required.
Nice to have
- Experience transitioning low-volume prototypes into high-rate production while maintaining mission reliability.
- Experience with National Security Space or large commercial telecommunications constellation architectures.
- Success negotiating, capturing, and executing large US Government or major commercial contracts.
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with systems engineering, trade studies, interface control, requirements integrity, Jira, Confluence, and ERP.
