TL;DR
Supplier Program Manager (Aerospace): Managing complex supplier contracts and spacecraft program deliverables across satellite manufacturers, payload suppliers, launch providers, and ground services with an accent on contract execution, supplier performance, and technical program coordination. Location: Golden, Colorado, United States; on-site

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 per year

Provides end-to-end spacecraft and satellite mission services for governments, companies, and research institutions, including satellite integration, launch, and operations.

What you will do

  • Evaluate, negotiate, close, and manage critical subcontracts with spacecraft, payload, launch, ground station, and data-service suppliers.
  • Manage contract changes, waivers, deviations, addenda, exercised options, and change control throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance against schedule, cost, and quality targets, including the 90% on-time delivery KPI.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, escalating issues to strategic supplier leadership and program stakeholders.
  • Coordinate supplier deliverables, acceptance milestones, integrated schedules, risk reviews, milestone reviews, and gate readiness.
  • Support proposals and pricing with supplier inputs and contribute to the Approved Vendor List strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related technical field, or demonstrated hands-on technical experience.
  • At least 6 years of subcontract management experience in spacecraft, aerospace, or complex technical programs.
  • Experience procuring multi-million-dollar contracts and managing SoW, MSA, or milestone-based agreements.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven international environment while maintaining accurate contract records.
  • Fluent English required; the role is based on-site in Golden, Colorado.

Nice to have

  • French language skills.
  • Experience with ITAR, EAR, French dual-use regulations, FAR/DFARS, or US Government contracting.
  • Experience in aerospace, space, or defense.
  • ASCM, PMP, or equivalent supply chain or project management certification.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Jira, and Confluence.
