Location: On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, United States. U.S. ITAR eligibility is required: candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations.
Salary: $150,000–$250,000 per year, with flexible salary and equity compensation mixes.

What you will do
- Define program scope, structure, milestones, schedules, dependencies, and execution plans.
- Coordinate engineering teams and keep mission-critical hardware and software deliverables on track.
- Identify resource needs, negotiate staffing, and resolve conflicts across concurrent programs.
- Surface risks early and develop practical mitigation plans.
- Support new-effort planning through staffing, cost estimates, schedule assumptions, and resource utilization analysis.
- Partner with engineering and executive leadership on prioritization and bid/no-bid decisions.
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience supporting complex, high-stakes technical programs delivering integrated hardware/software systems.
- Ability to learn highly technical concepts rapidly and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong accountability and ability to meet mission-critical deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for connecting deep technical engineering details with executive strategy.
- U.S. ITAR eligibility is required.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, integrating, or testing electronic or mechanical hardware systems.
- Experience with Python, SQL, or data visualization tools for program metrics and performance tracking.
- Experience in high-growth, ambiguous, or clean-sheet hardware environments.
- Familiarity with aerospace or safety-critical hardware development.
