Supplier Quality Engineer (Battery Cells)

What you will do

• Evaluate new battery cells and battery PACKs, develop testing plans, coordinate validation resources, analyze test data, and assess product risks.
• Analyze cell and battery failures, implement quality improvements, and verify their effectiveness.
• Build and optimize quality-risk early-warning mechanisms for products and suppliers.
• Contribute to battery-cell technical standards and specifications.
• Evaluate new suppliers, manage existing suppliers, conduct production-process audits, and drive supplier quality improvements.
• Support quality management for other non-electronic materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering, materials science, physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least 5 years of experience in battery-cell or battery-PACK process, R&D, or quality management.
• Familiarity with quality tools including FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, DOE, and SPC.
• Strong communication, coordination, initiative, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel 20–40% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience at a recognized battery or cell manufacturing company.
• Good English reading and writing skills and fluent spoken English.
