What you will do

• Develop and maintain quality standards for semiconductor manufacturing processes and products.
• Improve quality methodologies and influence Manufacturing, Quality Control, Fab, Raw Material, and Engineering activities.
• Implement and oversee SPC controls, specifications, control limits, trend rules, and product control chart reviews.
• Lead root-cause investigations, corrective actions, Material Review Board meetings, and change qualification planning.
• Set site quality objectives and KPIs, communicate customer requirements, and present performance results to management.
• Manage and develop a small local team through goal setting, coaching, training, and budgeting.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor or semiconductor materials industry in Engineering, R&D, Quality, Fab, or a related technical function.
• Thorough understanding of raw material and product chemistry, analytical methods, and functional characterization.
• Demonstrated success resolving technical challenges in time-critical situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English.
• Strong leadership and people-development skills.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, Six Sigma, and statistical software such as JMP.
