Senior Technology Learning & Adoption Training Specialist (Legal Technology)

Location: New York, United States

Salary: $56.00–$75.00 per hour ($116,480.00–$156,000.00 annually) for a 40-hour work week.

Law firm with an internal Technology Client Services Department supporting attorneys and business professionals.

What you will do

• Consult with Technology, HR, Administration, and users to identify needs and develop customized learning solutions.
• Design instructor-led courses, videos, written documentation, curricula, guides, and other educational resources.
• Deliver new-hire training and technology-related classes in physical and virtual classroom environments.
• Coach personnel, facilitate adult learning, and provide follow-up support to improve technology adoption and performance.
• Develop training materials and rollout strategies for complex projects, track milestones, and measure effectiveness.
• Schedule courses, maintain registration and completion records in the learning management system, and respond to training requests through the ticketing system.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with legal software systems and coordinating training projects in a business setting.
• Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and delivering technology-related training.
• Ability to create learning objectives, competency requirements, reference guides, instructor-led materials, and assessments.
• Understanding of adult learning facilitation techniques and experience teaching in both in-person and virtual classrooms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, iManage, and other firm applications after hirify.global orientation.
• Availability to work overtime and travel as needed.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in education, technology, business, or a related field.
• Technical writing, visual design, or video recording and editing experience.
• Experience with learning management systems, learning development tools, and virtual classroom platforms.
• Experience collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Manual of Style.
