Manager, Learning Experience Design (AI)

Location: New York, New York; candidates must be based in the United States. Hybrid schedule with three days per week in the New York office. Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Annual salary: $100,000–$115,000 USD, plus cash bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Manage and optimize the LMS and broader learning technology ecosystem to improve access, participation, reporting, and learner experience.
• Design, develop, implement, and scale LMS-based learning solutions, digital learning assets, resource hubs, and learning pathways.
• Research and implement technology-enabled approaches that increase learner engagement, application, and practice in the flow of work.
• Develop the L&D playbook, governance practices, templates, and authoring-tool standards.
• Drive adoption of learning platforms, resources, and strategic initiatives, including AI skilling.
• Manage external vendors while contributing directly to learning experience design and overseeing a small team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of learning and development and instructional design experience.
• At least 2 years of experience managing or directly mentoring others.
• Deep expertise in learning technology, learning solutions, and learner experience design.
• Experience driving engagement with learning content and platforms and using data to demonstrate impact.
• Strong consultative, communication, facilitation, and learning advocacy skills.
• Current knowledge of emerging learning technologies, including thoughtful use of AI-enabled tools.
