Senior Program Manager I - Advanced RF Systems (TS/SCI)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; based at hirify.global's global headquarters

Base pay range: $116,000–$160,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead RF payload, transponder, SAR, and communications-system programs from concept through qualification, high-rate production, and flight.
• Own technical roadmaps and strategic program decisions while making architectural and cross-functional trade-offs.
• Run multiple programs, coordinate hardware, software, and spectrum-management teams, and remove execution roadblocks.
• Manage strategic suppliers and high-stakes subcontracts while protecting schedule, margin, and mission outcomes.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for national security, civil, and commercial programs.
• Partner with Business Development and Strategy on proposals and technical narratives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in physics, mathematics, science, or another technical discipline.
• At least 5 years of program management experience and demonstrated end-to-end ownership of a technical program, product, or team.
• Experience taking hardware and software from prototype toward scalable, flight-ready production.
• Understanding of transponders, SAR, or advanced communications systems.
• Experience identifying and mitigating technical, schedule, and supply-chain risks.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to work in the United States under applicable ITAR regulations are required.

Nice to have

• Experience transitioning low-volume prototypes into reliable high-rate production.
• National Security Space or large commercial telecommunications constellation experience.
• Experience capturing, negotiating, and executing large U.S. Government or commercial contracts.
• Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience with systems engineering, trade studies, interface control, requirements integrity, Jira, Confluence, and ERP tools.
