Manager, Product Development Engineering (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Lead and develop a high-performing new product development engineering team through coaching, feedback, performance management, and career development.
• Set technical direction and execution strategies for programs from concept through commercialization.
• Coordinate with global engineering, manufacturing, quality, applications, marketing, and customer-facing teams to accelerate delivery.
• Define project goals, milestones, resource plans, and risk mitigation actions for timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
• Communicate program status, technical decisions, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Support global collaboration and customer engagement with up to 10% travel.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, talent development, and inclusive team building.
• Experience leading semiconductor process, filtration, purification, or advanced materials product development programs.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, project and portfolio management, prioritization, resource planning, risk management, and executive communication skills.
• Knowledge of DOE, statistical analysis, product qualification, and data-driven technical decision-making.
• Excellent English communication skills for simplifying complex technical topics and influencing global stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Minitab, JMP, Power BI, or equivalent statistical and business tools.
• Advanced technical degree.
