Senior Manager, New Product Development Engineering (Manufacturing)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; manufacturing environment with approximately 20% travel

What you will do

• Lead hardware new product development innovation and execution for the Electronics Solutions division in Taiwan.
• Develop and execute product development roadmaps focused on on-time delivery, performance, quality, and customer requirements.
• Plan development activities, budgets, schedules, project methods, evaluation criteria, and critical-path mitigations.
• Direct a broad engineering function through department managers and technical leads while managing an engineering discipline team.
• Coordinate system-level interfaces across mechanical, electrical, software, and firmware components.
• Collaborate with customers, manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, commercial teams, strategy teams, and global engineering resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10 or more years of management experience.
• Experience with system-level interface determination and specification.
• Strong negotiation, relationship management, facilitation, decision-making, analytical, financial, and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build high-performance teams, communicate a clear vision, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and occasional electrical risks.
