Data Center Technician (AI Infrastructure)

Location: On-site at the Kansas City, Missouri data center, United States; shift-based work with occasional travel between data center locations.

Salary: $30–$45 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve server hardware issues to maintain continuous data center infrastructure support.
• Install, upgrade, dismantle, and maintain server and network hardware, including H200 GPU cloud cluster infrastructure.
• Perform hardware and network diagnostics, physical repairs, and regular infrastructure operations tasks.
• Manage fiber optic cables and patch cords, and process Return Merchandise Authorizations in line with established procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams, executives, key stakeholders, and external contractors to resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Create documentation and manuals for hardware configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing and resolving server hardware issues.
• Solid understanding of data center operations and server and network equipment principles.
• Basic proficiency with Linux and command-line tools.
• Practical experience with server hardware, enterprise-grade network switches, and fiber optic cables.
• Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, formulas, lists, and graph creation.
• Authorization to work in the United States and proof of employment eligibility are required.
