Senior Data Center Technicians (AI Infrastructure)

hirify.global is building a multi-silicon neocloud that partitions and routes AI workloads across heterogeneous hardware for efficient production inference.

What you will do

• Rack, stack, cable, label, deploy, validate, expand, and audit data center hardware.
• Troubleshoot and repair servers, GPUs, storage, network links, optics, cabling, BMC/IPMI, firmware, and Linux-based systems.
• Perform component swaps, RMA support, hands-on testing, ticket closure, and operational maintenance.
• Maintain asset records, rack elevations, cabling documentation, inventory, spares tracking, and site notes.
• Support network turn-ups and validation with Network Deployment Engineers.
• Follow and improve runbooks, safety practices, checklists, and data center procedures while communicating status, risks, and blockers.

Requirements

• Senior hands-on experience as a data center, IT hardware, lab operations, field service, or infrastructure operations technician.
• Experience with server hardware, racks, PDUs, copper and fiber cabling, optics, labels, cable management, and physical deployment standards.
• Methodical troubleshooting and clear technical documentation skills.
• Basic Linux or command-line familiarity, including BMC/IPMI, firmware, BIOS, PXE, or hardware validation workflows.
• Ability to work in active data center environments and support occasional off-hours maintenance or urgent work.

Nice to have

• Experience with GPU clusters, liquid cooling, HPC systems, AI infrastructure, high-density compute, or large server fleets.
• Experience with fiber handling, structured cabling, optics, transceivers, and data center network patching.
• Experience using ticketing, asset management, inventory, DCIM, or CMDB tools.
• Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with colocation access, remote-hands workflows, security procedures, and site acceptance.
