Data Center Operations Technician (AI)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia; onsite work in a 24/7 facility with day and night shifts

What you will do

• Troubleshoot, monitor, diagnose, and repair servers, storage, compute, and network infrastructure.
• Install and stage racks, servers, switches, cabling, and power connections during data center build-outs.
• Maintain network infrastructure, including equipment swaps and optics and fiber-link repairs.
• Manage cross-functional data center operations tickets through Jira and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Receive, decommission, return, and track data center hardware and spare parts.
• Define, design, and implement network layouts and infrastructure solutions within data centers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with server, storage, compute, and network hardware.
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing servers and networking infrastructure.
• Strong Linux skills, including file-system navigation, shell file manipulation, process management, and basic debugging.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Ability to work day and night shifts in a 24/7 facility and respond onsite during emergencies.

Nice to have

• Experience with inventory management and ordering, receiving, and shipping server and network equipment.
• Bash or other scripting experience.
• On-call experience and ability to respond to critical events.
• Experience leading data center infrastructure projects.
• Experience with structured copper and fiber cabling, power, and cooling concepts.
