Compliance Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Singapore-Yishun

What you will do

• Serve as the Product Line Regulatory Lead and provide onsite regulatory leadership for manufacturing activities.
• Ensure materials and assembled products meet applicable legal, safety, industrial, and global compliance standards.
• Maintain Materials of Concern compliance data for new and existing material part numbers.
• Collaborate with R&D, Materials Engineering, suppliers, and global compliance teams on regulatory requirements and non-compliant materials.
• Translate new standards into practical product-line guidance and coordinate regulatory database updates and inquiries.
• Communicate regulatory risks, recommendations, implementation progress, and mitigation strategies to site and global leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• Experience or exposure to global developments involving REACH, RoHS, PFAS, and TSCA Section 6.
• Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear, practical, and actionable guidance.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks and the ability to analyze and escalate compliance issues.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SAP EHSM.
