What you will do
- Lead the evaluation, procurement, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for advanced packaging and wafer-level assembly tools, including bonders, dicers, and printers.
- Take ownership of equipment uptime and proactively minimize unscheduled downtime on the production floor.
- Design and implement effective periodic and predictive maintenance programs to ensure operational efficiency.
- Perform root-cause analysis on equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Extensive hands-on experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining advanced packaging and wafer-level assembly equipment.
- Proven track record in defining equipment specifications, vendor selection, and machine buy-offs (FAT/SAT).
- Experience establishing predictive maintenance protocols in a high-tech manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
- Strong analytical skills for root-cause analysis.
