2nd Shift LPN - OCC Health

Location: TN-Dayton, United States; onsite second-shift role

Pay: $25.00–$32.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support providers during examinations and deliver patient care, including collecting histories, vital signs, specimens, and laboratory tests.
• Administer injections, vaccinations, medications, wound care, and dressing changes as directed by licensed providers.
• Support occupational health programs, including fitness-for-duty examinations, employee health requirements, injury monitoring, immunizations, workers’ compensation documentation, referrals, and authorizations.
• Perform phlebotomy, prescription refill processing, medical record handling, supply management, sterilization preparation, and clinical room organization.
• Welcome patients, schedule appointments, answer calls, maintain office records, complete medical and billing forms, and coordinate health events.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, professional environment and provide clear instructions and attentive customer service.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in nursing or an equivalent degree.
• 3+ years of experience as an LPN/LVN in a hospital, medical clinic, or comparable environment.
• LPN or LVN certification, phlebotomy certification, and CPR/BLS are required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, practical nursing practices, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, multitasking, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with electronic health records and office software; Athena, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 are preferred.

Nice to have

• Prior occupational health experience.
• Experience with office procedures, confidential files, healthcare stakeholders, clients, guests, and vendors.
