Software Engineer, New Grad - Production Infrastructure

Location: New York, NY; hybrid workplace with regular office presence expected

Salary: $145,000–$155,000 per year, plus potential restricted stock units, sign-on bonus, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Design, prototype, implement, and release production infrastructure features across the full product lifecycle.
• Build and operate Kubernetes-based platform capabilities across hundreds of production clusters.
• Develop secure fleet-wide deployment and change-management systems for complex microservice suites.
• Improve observability and alerting tools used to monitor mission-critical infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, reliability engineers, vendors, and users to identify problems and deliver solutions.

Requirements

• Engineering background in computer science, mathematics, software engineering, physics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, frontend frameworks, and related technical tools.
• Experience coding in Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Active US security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain a US security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, TypeScript, React, Redux, Kubernetes, Cilium, Envoy, Grafana, Gradle, or GitHub.
