QA Engineer (AI)

Location: On site in Southlake, Texas, United States

Salary: USD $40.10–$55.77 per hour, plus potential bonus or incentive opportunities.

What you will do

• Execute software test strategies for enterprise applications across Java and .NET environments.
• Develop test cases, perform regression testing, and manage the defect lifecycle.
• Identify issues, document findings accurately, and validate expected software behavior.
• Contribute to test automation and quality engineering initiatives for web applications, APIs, and RESTful services.
• Support AI-powered quality solutions and intelligent workflow automation within Agile teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members and continuously improve testing practices.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, test automation, software development, or a related technology discipline.
• Understanding of testing concepts, test case development, defect lifecycle management, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with Java, C#, .NET, or a similar programming or scripting language.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Curiosity about applying AI tools and technologies to software development and testing workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Selenium, RestAssured, or similar test automation frameworks.
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, or RESTful services.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, BDD, Gherkin, Cucumber, or SpecFlow.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
• Interest in developing AI agents or intelligent workflow automation solutions.
