Senior Software Engineer - Python/Agentic AI (QA Automation)

Location: Pleasanton. Candidates who live within a reasonable commute to a hirify.global office must work in the office at least 3 days a week.

Salary: $170,000–$213,000 per year.

What you will do

• Create automated tests for web applications, mobile applications, and RESTful APIs.
• Build iOS and Android hybrid/native mobile test automation using Appium and maintain the regression test harness.
• Improve the automation framework, CI/CD execution, test coverage, and quality engineering processes.
• Identify risks, investigate test failures and defects, and perform root-cause analysis for performance and scalability issues.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, and QE leadership on requirements, acceptance criteria, test plans, and technical designs.
• Provide technical leadership and help establish quality standards, compliance objectives, and success metrics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience testing web applications, mobile applications, SaaS products, and RESTful APIs.
• 7+ years of test automation development, including building an automation suite from the ground up.
• 7+ years of experience with C#, .NET Core, and NUnit, XUnit, or MSTest.
• Hands-on experience with iOS and Android testing, Appium or Selendroid, device farms, emulators, and mobile-to-API communication.
• Experience with CI/CD, performance testing, integration patterns, API gateways, cloud-native applications, and at least one of Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL knowledge, including stored procedures, data models, and transactional flows; FinTech or financial services experience is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of software security, public cloud architectures, containers such as Kubernetes, and messaging platforms such as Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with ERP systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, NetSuite, or Intacct.
• Experience scaling high-performance systems, using open-source tools, Agile methodologies, frontend technologies, or data integration middleware.
