Location: On-site in San Diego, California; Dallas, Texas; or Washington, D.C., United States

Salary: $97,000–$140,000 per year, plus potential bonus, benefits, and equity

What you will do

• Administer and optimize Atlassian Cloud products, including Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
• Configure workflows, schemes, automation rules, governance controls, permissions, and marketplace applications.
• Develop REST API integrations, webhooks, automation solutions, and data synchronization with external systems.
• Integrate Atlassian products with DevOps toolchains, CI/CD platforms, identity providers, and collaboration tools.
• Administer Atlassian Access, including SSO, SCIM provisioning, and security policies.
• Build advanced JQL queries, dashboards, executive reporting, documentation, audits, health checks, and cloud migration improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Atlassian administration experience with strong hands-on experience in Atlassian Cloud.
• Experience with Atlassian REST APIs, webhooks, automation frameworks, ScriptRunner or similar tools, and DevOps integrations.
• Advanced knowledge of Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, configurations, JQL, dashboards, and reporting.
• Experience administering Atlassian Access, including SSO, SCIM, and security controls.
• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Scripting experience with Python, Groovy, or similar languages.
• Experience managing enterprise environments with 1,000+ users.
• Familiarity with ITIL, governance, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience integrating Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Entra ID, and CI/CD pipelines.
