IT Systems Administrator (Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Set up new factory sections, including hardware, cabling, endpoint imaging, identity and access provisioning, networking, monitoring, and documentation.
• Deploy and support Kubernetes nodes and line-side services with factory, platform, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
• Troubleshoot outages, lead initial IT triage, coordinate incident response, and drive follow-up actions.
• Own core IT platforms including Okta, Microsoft 365, Box, Jira, MDM, and related integrations.
• Build AI-enabled service desk tools, agent-assist capabilities, scripts, and integrations to reduce manual work.
• Design identity, access, lifecycle, SSO, SCIM, logging, hardening, and least-privilege solutions while mentoring technicians and analysts.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of IT experience, including 2 or more years in systems administration, IT engineering, or platform roles.
• Hands-on experience supporting services in a factory, warehouse, laboratory, or other on-site production environment.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, including deploying, upgrading, or troubleshooting nodes and workloads.
• Strong experience with Okta or another SSO platform, Microsoft 365, MDM, identity and access, and endpoint security.
• Strong scripting and API skills with Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or similar technologies; comfort with Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Ability to work on-site in Mesa, Arizona, lift up to 50 lbs, and move hardware around the factory floor. Candidates must meet applicable U.S. ITAR eligibility requirements.

Nice to have

• Computer Science, Information Systems, or related education.
• Software engineering experience and infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or similar tools.
• Networking experience with VLANs, firewalls, VPN, or Wi-Fi in a factory or campus environment.
• Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-171, or CMMC.
• Manufacturing or other hard-tech experience.
