Electrical/Power Hardware Engineer

What you will do

• Lead multiple electrical hardware engineering project teams through all stages of design and development for complex products, solutions, and platforms.
• Oversee part qualification, product quality plans, equipment inspections, factory witness testing, and manufacturing process qualifications.
• Review designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development standards, providing feedback to improve product quality.
• Identify opportunities to optimize product output, enhance quality, and reduce delivery costs.
• Develop cost estimates, business cases, appropriation requests, project plans, and professional technical reports.
• Drive the integration of new technologies and mentor less-experienced electrical hardware engineers.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 7–10 years of experience in electrical design, design tools, electronic hardware architecture, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering, hardware design and architecture, systems design, PCB, schematic capture, simulations, and debugging.
• Experience or knowledge with FPGA, MATLAB, Python, C++, and oscilloscopes.
• Effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.
