Senior Field Application Engineer (Digital Power)

Location: Taipei, Taiwan; onsite role with 25–50% travel to domestic and international customer sites, primarily within Greater China.

What you will do

• Collaborate with sales teams and business units to create demand and influence product selection through demonstrations and presentations.
• Provide engineering support and technical assistance for customer hardware and software development.
• Adapt reference designs to customer requirements and conduct schematic, PCB layout, hardware, and system-level design reviews.
• Prepare and deliver technical training for customers and partners.
• Monitor opportunities, net new revenue, and design-win status against quarterly and annual targets.
• Gather market intelligence through competitive analysis, SWOT assessments, and evaluation of industry trends.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of field experience in digital power design is required.
• In-depth knowledge of power electronics and MCU/DSP-based digital power control.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, AC/DC sources, electronic loads, and other laboratory equipment.
• Experience reviewing schematics and PCB layouts.
• Strong English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills, including coordination with business units and distributors.
